Joyce Sampson, 67, of Hamilton, died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at her home. Born in Corbin, Kentucky to C.C. Walters and Gertrude (Head) Walters, she married Ronald Dare Sampson May 13, 1960. She was a homemaker and lived in the Hamilton/Fennville area the past 48 years. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; son, Daniel Sampson of Hamilton; daughter, Judie and Jim Driesenga of Holland; step-son, Ronald Jr. and Chris Sampson of Holland; step-daughter, Patricia Peterson of Glenn; four grandchildren, Melissa McGee, Julie McGee, James Driesenga, and Aaron Sampson; mother, Gertrude Walters of Louisville, KY.; brother, Kenneth and Billie Walters of Asheland, KY.; sister, Lois Cooper of Corbin, KY. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dale Scholten officiating. Burial will be in Manlius Cemetery, New Richmond, MI.
