Josephine Frances Nelson, age 83, of Fennville, formerly of Holland, died on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at Golden Orchards Christian Living in Fennville. She was born in Chicago, IL, on February 24, 1924, to Anthony Dowgolewicz and Velencia Frances Melus. She married Willard Mark Nelson and was a retired telephone operator. She was a former member of Holland Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband, Willard M. Nelson, Sr., of Fennville; children, Willard and Felicia Nelson of Colorado, Maxine and Mel Dillin of Zeeland, Jonathan Nelson of Fennville, and Valerie and James Gillis of Allegan, Mark and Michelle Nelson of Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; l4 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one Uncle, Joe and Barb Dolnik of Parchment, MI. Visitation is Thursday, November 8, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville. Services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 at ll:00 A.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Myers officiating. Burial will take place at Manlius Cemetery.
