Jose Pedro Galvan, age 58, of Jenison, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at his home, after a long battle with cancer. Born March 23, 1954 in Brenham, Texas, he was the son of Pedro and Ramona (Gonzales) Galvan. Jose "Joe Pete" was a computer programmer, working for Herman Miller for over 20 years. He is survived by one son Sgt. Jose and Elizabeth Galvan of North Carolina, his mother Ramona Galvan of Fennville, and his good friend John Hernandez of Grand Rapids, MI. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2012 with visitation from 1:00 p.m. till service time, at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI.
