PULLMAN - John Lewis, 60, a Pullman resident passed away early Tuesday morning, August 22nd at his residence following a year long battle with cancer. John was born in Chicago to John and Annie (Heglar) Lewis. He married Joyce Ann Nunn in September of 1971. Prior to his illness, John was employed as a Custodian for Clementines Restaurant in South Haven. He attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Pullman. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; 2 sons, David (Nicole) Lewis of Battle Creek and John Lewis, Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee; 3 daughters, Chris Lewis of Chicago, Ruth Price of Pullman and Kimberly Holland of Memphis, Tennessee. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and 5 sisters and 5 brothers. Services arrangements are pending.
