John William Donovan II, 72, of Toledo, Ohio, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, in Toledo. Born in Grand Rapids, he was a self-employed carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by a son John Donovan III. Surviving are his children, James Donavan, Carla and Douglas Wooten, Laura and Al Frost, all of Toledo, Jackie and Michael Erickson of Maryland, and Carrie and Randy Bird of Fennville; his mother, Jane Donovan of Toledo; and l4 grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. No services or visitation are planned. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
