John David Decker, age 60, born March 22, 1960 died of natural causes at his home this winter. John was raised on the family farm in Fennville and attended Fennville schools. John earned a Bachelor of Communication at MSU and a Bachelor of Occupational Theory and Health at GVSU. John worked as a Safety Director. After retirement John returned to the family farm. John was an avid golfer. When the sun set on the greens you could find John enjoying live music, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. John will be remembered by his parents, Jack and Elaine Decker; his sister, Pat (David) Gacchina; his nieces, Sara (Greg) Foster and Carmen (Brad) Johnson; as well as great nieces and nephews. A small family service will be held. Any memorials can be sent to The Salvation Army.
