Jennie Johanna Rovsek, age 87, of Fennville, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 24, 2014, with her family by her side. Born May 24, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Albert and Stephanie (Cebula) Laba. Jennie was a homemaker, and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Douglas, Michigan, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Rovsek on March 31, 2007. Surviving are her children; Lynn and Tom Kirkaldy of Fennville, MI, Laureen Curtis of Clearwater, FL, Fred and Becky Rovsek of Glendale, AZ, Deborah and Michael Vinti of San Diego, CA, grandchildren; Amber, Alisha, Jonathon, Dominic, great-grandchildren; Emmett, Max, brother Stanley and Jo Laba of Lincoln Park, MI, Special kids; Brian Upchurch of Troy, MI, Peggy Lewinski of Pinckney, MI Karina Novoa (Bubbles) and many nieces and nephews. At her request cremation has taken place and family services have been held.
