Jefferson (Alex) Boyle, 93, of Holland, formerly from Fennville, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Haven Park Christian Nursing Home in Zeeland. Born Nov. 23, 1914 in Allegan County, the son of Jefferson and Lucinda(Holly) Boyle. He retired from H.J. Heinz Company in Holland in 1979. Alex was a member of the Ganges Baptist Church, The Pullman I.O.O.F., and the Rebekah Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife Belva on April 14, 2004. Surviving are his children, Richard and Ellen Boyle of Taylors, SC, Donald Boyle of Holland, Verna Bruischart of Holland, and Sarah and William Rundquist of Highland, CA. 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Ganges Baptist Church, with visitation Wednesday, from 1:00 P.M. till service time at the church. Officiating will be Pastor Thomas Case, and burial will be in Taylor Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Ganges Baptist Church.
