Jean Rutkowski, 95, of Pullman, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at South Haven Community Hospital. She was a homemaker and attended St. Peter's Catholic Church in Douglas. She lived in the Pullman area for more than 30 years and also lived in Hillside, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Rutkowski in 1974 and son Alex Rutkowski. Survivors include daughters Barbara and John Vought and Donna Rutkowski, all of Pullman; 11 grandchildren and l2 great-grandchildren; brothers Dwayne and Laverne Legoo of Pell Lake, Wis., and Lawrence Legoo of Sandwich, Ill. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2005 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville. Graveside services are l p.m. Wednesday at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Ill., with the Rev. Fred Hoesli officiating. Memorials may be made to the Kent County Area on Aging.
