Jean Marie Latchaw, age 77, of Fennville, died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Heartland of Holland. Born January 30, 1933 in South Haven, Michigan, she was the daughter of Arthur and Alvena (Kafifhke) Niffenegger. A school teacher and homemaker, Jean married Eugene T. Latchaw on August 17, 1957. She was a member of the Ganges Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband Eugene, children; Michael and Pam Latchaw of Rockford, MI, Laurie Latchaw of Monon, IN, and Lisa Latchaw of Wyoming, MI, grandchildren; Ryan Latchaw, Alexis Gaertner, and Amanda Latchaw, sister Sue and David McKay of South Haven, MI. At her request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2010, at the Ganges Baptist Church, with Pastor Thomas Case officiating.
