Jean Anita Burd, 81, of Saugatuck, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at her home. Born in South Bend, Ind., she was retired from sales in jewelry and fashion. She resided in the Saugatuck are for the past 18 years. Surviving are her husband, Marvin; sons, Stephen & Marsha Burd of Fennville, Douglas and Caro Cook of Washington, D.C., and Mark and Joyce Burd of Herndn, Va., six grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Jack Ringelski of Prescott, Ariz., and James Ringelski. Services are 2 p.m. Friday at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., with the Rev. Daniel N. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Plummerville Cemetery. Visiting is one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland. She was preceded in death by her parents and l Sister Selma.
