James G. Bradford Jr., 69, of Allegan, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at his home. Born in Decatur, Ala., he was retired from Louis Padnos. Surviving are his wife, Frances; children, James III and Kathy Bradford of Holland, Edward of Florida, Steven Bradford of Fennville, Suzanne and Vaughn Aikens of Holland, Robin Bradford of Grand Rapids, and Rhonda Ortiz of Holland; stepchildren, Amy Goodrich of Allegan, and Robert Thompson of Holland; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Bradford of Pullman, Lester Bradford of Truman, Ark., Larry Bradford of Pargould, Ark., and Raymond Bradford of Batesville, Ark., a sister, Betty Plaster of Holland; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Mary Sue Bradford. No services or visitation are planned. Memorials may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
