Jacob "J.R." Weeks, age 67 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 at his home. Born September 3, 1948 in Fairview, Oklahoma, he was the son of Irvin and Noma (Holeman) Weeks. Jacob was a retired supervisor from UTA, and also worked for VanDenBosch Feed. He was a member of the Bravo Christian Reformed Church. Surviving is his wife of 24 years Betty Ann Weeks, children; Tommy and Michelle Brooks of Dumas, TX, Michelle Martinez of Zeeland, MI, Justin and Tabitha Weeks, of Allegan, MI, Vickie Moss, of Fennville, Michael and Annetta Moss of Grand Junction, MI, Cleamond Moss of Fennville, Alexandra Weeks of Fennville, Josh Weeks of Fennville, Suntira Weeks of Fennville, 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sisters; Carol and Tom Coyle of Kiowa, KS, Leatha Strack Medicine Lodge, KS, Kathy and Tom Doherty of Independence, MO, Debra Craven of Springfield, MO, Brother Terry and Sherri Weeks of Medicine Lodge, KS. Jacob was preceded in death by his parents,1 daughter, 2 great-grandchildren and one sister. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville, MI. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Bravo Christian Reformed Church, with Rev. Mark Douglas, officiating. Burial will be in the Fennville Cemetery.
