Jack E. Childress Sr., 72 of Pullman, died Saturday, March 11, 2006 in Zeeland, MI. Born in Knoxville, TN, he was retired. A veteran he served in the U.S. Army. Surviving are his Girlfriend, Marie Hunter of Zeeland, children, Tara Childress of Spring Lake, and Jack Childress Jr. of Knoxville; brothers Buck Childress, Gene Childress, and Fred Childress. Services are 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2006, with visiting starting at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor David Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery Pullman, Michigan.
