Isabell Gonzalez, a cherished pillar of warmth and love, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, at the age of 89 in Fennville, Michigan. Born on October 22, 1935, in Texas, Isabell's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and joyous living.

Isabell's journey began as the beloved daughter of her late parents, and she grew up surrounded by a large and lively family. She was predeceased by one of her sons (Sylvester Tonche) and six of her siblings, whose memories she held close to her heart throughout her life. Isabell's legacy continued to flourish through her six living children (Paula DeSantos, John Vasquez, Paul Vasquez, David Vasquz, Ricardo Vasquez, and Sylvia Montoya) two living siblings, and the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.

For 51 beautiful years, Isabell shared an unwavering bond of love and companionship with her husband, Paul Vasquez. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, support, and mutual respect. Isabell's role as a wife was paralleled only by her devotion as a mother and grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy, and she nurtured each relationship with care, imparting wisdom and kindness that will resonate through generations.

Isabell's zest for life was evident in her hobbies and interests. She found great pleasure in the simple joys of cooking, infusing love into every dish she prepared for her family and friends. Her competitive spirit shone brightly during her frequent visits to the casino, where she reveled in the thrill of the game. Isabell also enjoyed the anticipation and excitement of scratch-off tickets and the camaraderie of bingo nights, where she was a well-known and beloved figure.

Isabell's Funeral will be Friday, June 20th at 11:00am with an hour's visitation beforehand at Chappell Funeral Home 637 West Main Street, Fennville, MI 49408. And graveside service to follow at Fennville City Cemetery.
