Isabel M. Violante Our wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Isabel M. Violante, age 96 of Fennville, MI went to be with the Lord Jesus on Wednesday January 6th at 8:20pm in the Holland Hospital. Originally from the Chicago area, she resided here for over 33 years. During her lifetime she was a vibrant member of the Church working always to spread the message of God's love. For over 60 years in both Illinois and Michigan, she was an active member of the World Apostolate of Fatima visiting churches and schools spreading Our Lady's message of prayer. She started a chapter of the Third Order Carmelites at St. Peter's Parish in Douglas and was also a current member of The Shepherds of Christ prayer group from St. Peter's. Survived by children, Dominic and Kay Violante of Edina MN, Frank and Eileen Violante of Fennville, MI, and Alfred and Mary Ellingsen of Fennville, MI. Grandchildren, Edward and Elizabeth Violante of Edina MN, Michael Violante of Santa Fe NM, Todd and Kathy Violante of Madison WI, Tom & Renee Kelly of Saugatuck, MI Mary Violante of Holland MI, Karen and Tim Steenwyk of Holland MI, Anthony and Monica Violante of Kalamazoo MI, and Joe Ellingsen of Fennville MI. Great grandchildren, Nicholas, Sarah, Anthony & Michael Violante, Frances, Margaret, Olivia and Dominic Violante and Sean and Jennifer Kelly, and Isabella Violante and Anna and Daniel Steenwyk. Visitation will be held at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville, on Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 2-8 p.m. at the Panozoo Bros. Funeral Home in Chicago Heights, IL. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2010 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Chicago, IL. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth, IL.
