Irene Lois Brandeberry Mays, age 82, maiden name Irene Chambers formerly of Dyer, TN, died March 16, 2009 of a stroke at Hospice House in Holland, MI. Her home was in Douglas, MI for the past 40 years. Irene, oldest of four children of Matt Chambers and Mina Davis. She is survived by sister Ozell Mary Hart, Hobart, IN and brother ML Chambers of Hobart, IN. Sister Louise Pierce, deceased. She was widowed wife of Thomas A. Dunahoo and Jack Mays. She raised two daughters Brenda McClung, Hudsonville, MI and Missy Wedekind of Saugatuck, MI. Son Garry Dunahoo deceased 12 years. Grandchildren Bob Moats 1st of LasVegas, NV Justin McClung Hudsonville, MI Kyle DeZwaan, Saugatuck, MI Betty Rene Dunahoo, Tallapoosa, GA Bridgette Faye Robinson Muscadine, AL Shannon Dunahoo Wayland, MI and Robyn Lampen Holland, MI also, eleven great-grandchildren.
