Imelda Ortiz, 55, of Fennville, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007, in Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus. Born in Donna, Texas, she was a homemaker. Surviving her husband, Paulino; Children, Tomas Alegria of Holland, Julio Alegria of Holland,and Natasha Ortiz of Fennville; stepchildren, Robert and Mary Ortiz of Fennville, Paulino Jr. and Michele Ortiz of Holland, James Ortiz of Holland, Sandra Ortiz of South haven, and Debra and Mike Larson of Pullman; 25 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Cosme and Gloria Quintanilla of Holland, Eloy and Joan Quintanilla of Byron Center, and Lot and Grace Quintanilla of Allegan; and sisters, Idriana and Felix Luna of Hart, Iraselma and Manuel Salazar of holland, Idalia and Glenn Luckey of Texas, Loida Quintanilla of Holland, and Rosa and Roberto Garcia of Holland; nieces and nephews. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, with the Rev. Eloy Quintanilla officiating. Burial will be in Fennville Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, August 24, 2007 5 to 8 p.m.
