Howard R. Knight, age 52 of Fennville, MI, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008 at the Holland Community Hospital. Born July 28, 1956, in Allegan, MI, he was the son of Howard Vernon and Jacqueline (Stewart) Knight. Howard worked for Michigan Fruit Canners in Fennville as a fork lift driver for many years, he loved to spend time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing, he also loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his children; Jason and Heather Knight, Matt Knight, and Ann and Joe Schut, all of Fennville, grandchildren; Tyler Schut, Dylan Schut, Ely Schut, and Cory Alsip, parents Howard Vernon and Jacqueline Knight of Fennville, sisters; Karen and Bill Clark of Fennville, and Sharon and Joe Lopez of Holland, MI. He was preceded in death by one brother Vern Allen Knight and one grandson Christopher Alsip Knight. A memorial service will be 12:00 noon Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. till service time, with Rev. Tom Jeffrey officiating.
