Obituary

Henry T. Mileskiewicz (Miles), age 90, formerly of Fennville, Michigan has gone to be with his Lord and Savior. Born March 6, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the youngest of seven children, to Stephen and Mary (Niemic) Mileskiewicz. A WW II Navy Veteran, Henry was stationed at Pearl Harbor following the attack. Following his service he returned to run the family farm in Glenn, Michigan. He was a hard working farmer all his life, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, cooking, and spending time at his home on Hutchins Lake. He was also a devoted member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Douglas, Michigan. Henry is survived by his son Paul Miles of Grand Rapids, Michigan, daughter Marcia Metz of Venice, Florida, and missed by his grandchildren Matthew (Jeana), Andrea, Alex (Johana), and two great-grandchildren Jaxon and Milan. Visitation will be Monday, January 12, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at St. Peter's Catholic Church Douglas, Michigan, with Fr. Robert Flickinger officiating.
