Helen A. LeClear, age 90, of Allegan, Michigan passed away at Wings Home in Allegan, on Saturday, May 7, 2016, with her daughter Christine and Ted by her side. Born May 17, 1925 in Hopewell, PA, she was the daughter of Roy and Violet (Barber) Long. A longtime area resident, Helen was a life member of the Fennville V.F.W. Post #7911, and formerly attended the Bravo Christian Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles LeClear and two children; Leon Heister and Yvonne Boring. Surviving are her children; Christine LeClear and Ted Cassidy of Allegan, Craig and Teresa LeClear of Martin, Carol and Bob Snyder of Huntington, IN, Owen Heister and Marla James, Larry Heister, all of Huntington, many grand and great-grandchildren, sisters Dorothy and Bud Martin, Donna Hoestetler both of Pennsylvania, and a special niece Joann Bingaman. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan, with Ms. Marcia Tucker officiating.
