Hazel B. Hicks, age 66 of Holland, formerly of Fennville, died Tuesday, February 23,2010 at Heartland of Holland. Born March 8, 1943 in Missouri, she was the daughter of William Fitzgerald and Nina Marie Neal. Hazel was a homemaker and a loving mother. Surviving are her children; Timothy Scrape of Holland, James Scrape of Holland, Terry Brasfield of Edwardsburg, MI, Richard Whitsett of Searcy, Arkansas, and daughter Mary Starkey of Edwardsburg, MI, sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, brothers; James, Bob, Larry, Jerry, and Gary Fitzgerald and sisters; Shirley Harris, Susie Jones, and Brenda Meaner, Step-children, Joyce Moore, Holland, Michigan, Johna P. Mooreyhan, Shelbyville, TN, James & Shirley Murphy, Shelbyville, TN, Cyenthia Covington, Fennville, MI, Harold & Deana Hicks of Fennville, MI, David & Annie Hicks of Fennville, MI, Tom & Laverne Owens of Holland, MI, Thelma Hicks of Holland, MI, Bonnie Chavez of Fennville, MI, and Glen & Linda Parsons of Grayson, KY; Visitation will be Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 2-4 pm,Friday, February 26, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. and funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 all at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville.
