Harold (Bud) Knudsen, age 88, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at his home. Born September 5, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Frank and Bertha (Forbear) Knudsen. Bud was a WW II veteran, serving two tours in the Air National Guard,(405th out of Chicago,IL) as a bomber pilot. Bud worked for AT&T as a switchman for 35 years, till his retirement. Surviving is his son Jeffrey and Laurie Knudsen of Holland, grandchildren Phillip and Evan Knudsen, and his brother Don and Dorothy Knudsen of Hopkins. At his request cremation has taken place and private services have been held. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland, or the Humane Society.
