Grant Rogers Burd, age 6 months of Fennville, Michigan passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at Helen DeVos Children's hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Born January 5, 2016 in Grand Rapids, he was the son of Dana and Kara (Hawes) Burd. Grant is survived by his parents Dana and Kara, twin brother Griffin, brother Holden, sister Hadley, paternal grandparents Stephen and Marsha Burd, maternal grandparents Calvin and Wendy Hawes, great-grandfathers Marvin Burd, and Raymond Borcherding. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 14th, beginning at 5pm with a 6pm service honoring Grant for the family and friends who have shared in Grant's journey at the Saugatuck Yacht Club, 15 Park St. Memorial donations may be made to the "Grant Rogers Burd Memorial Fund" at any Macatawa Bank or to 6871 Wiley Rd, Fennville MI 49408.
