Gladys Zuidema, 87, of Holland and formerly of Fennville, died Friday, June 13th at Holland Community Hospital. Gladys was born July 22, 1920 in Grand Rapids to Jacob and Bertha (Buikema) Kool. She worked for several years in retail sales. Survivors include two sons: Tom D. Zuidema of Shelbyville, Michigan and Jack D. Zuidema of Grand Rapids, Michigan. A gathering of friends will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main Street, Fennville. In keeping with Gladys' wishes, cremation has taken place.
