Gerald Alan Polk, 41, of Grand Haven, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2005, in North Ottawa Community Hospital. He was born in Mt. Clemens. Surviving are his parents, Gerald and Kathleen Polk of Holland; brothers and sisters, Alan Polk, Steven Polk, Jamie Polk, all of Fennville, Ryan Polk and Stacy and Obed Flores of Holland, Sherri and Paul Bowmaster of Grand Haven and Shelly and Michael Plugis of Mattawan. Services are 3 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2005 at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., with the Rev. Fred Hoesli officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery. Visiting is one hour prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Grand Haven.
