George Moomey, age 69, of Pullman, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 16th. George was born March 23, 1939 to George W. and Hanna Mae (Davis) Moomey. He married the former Linda Smith on December 3, 1957 in Angola, Indiana, and she survives. George worked as a Maintenance Laborer until his retirement in 2002. Survivors include daughters: Georgia Stokes, Laura Moomey, Diane Houtman, Mae (Dan) Tubbs; 7 Grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn (Julius) Brower; a brother, William (Marilyn) Moomey; in-laws, Lawrence and Barbra Smith. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Open Door Worship Center, 2449 54th Street, Fennville.
