George A. Kupres, Jr., 85, of Fennville, Michigan, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Holland Community Hospital. Born Jan. 8, 1923 in Chicago, Il to George Anton and Antonette (Sykora) Kupres. He married Martha M. Bielik on October 19, 1946 in Douglas, Michigan. He was a farmer and lived in the Fennville area for many years. A member of the Fennville V.F.W. Post #7911. He served as a Army Medic during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Martha Kupres of Fennville, four sons, Ronald and Roberta Kupres, of Fennville, Steven and Kimberly Kupres of Wisconsin; Carl and Gerry Kupres of Fennville, and Anthony and Deborah Kupres of Fennville, Michigan; a daughter-in-law; Sally Kupres of Salem, Wisconsin; l3 grandchildren;, l great-granddaughter;, 3 sisters, Wilma Bielik of Fennville, Antonette Johnson of Fennville, and Mildred Kelly of Saugatuck, Michigan. He was preceded in death by one son, George Kupres III. At his request cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland.
