Gene Duke Leslie, 65, of Fennville, died Monday, April 25, 2005. Born in Russell, Ark., he worked as a carpenter for Union Local 525 United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Leslie. Surviving are his wife, Jan; children, Cindy and Bob Bosch of Hamilton, Jennifer and Charlie Sauceda of Ganges, and Nathan Leslie of Chicago; l0 grandchildren; brothers, Calvin and Donna Leslie of Fennville, and Don and Diane Leslie of Florida; and sister-in-law, Nancy of Fennville. Services are 2 p.m. Friday at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., with Marcia Tucker officiating. Visiting is 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
