Gary T. Perlongo, age 64, of Fennville, Michigan passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at his residence. Born December 3, 1950 he was the son of Martin and Rita (Creagan) Perlongo. Gary was born and raised in Chicago and recently retired to Michigan. He is a graduate of Florida State after proudly serving his country as a US Marine in Vietnam. Gary had a long career in sales and was most recently employed by Superior Mailing Services (SMS) for 17 years retiring in 2014. He was Catholic and attended mass at St. Peter Catholic Church in Douglas, MI. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Martin and Daniel Perlongo. Surviving is his loving wife Ronnell; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He had a heart for animals especially his dogs; Jake, Grace, and Maggie. Gary's life was well spent and he touched the lives of so many people. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wild Dog Rescue, 2525 Blue Star Hwy Fennville, MI 49408. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 100 St Peter Drive, Douglas, MI 49406, on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM EST.
