Gary Douglas Korman, age 79 of Fennville, Michigan passed away at his home on November 17, 2018. Known as everyone's favorite teacher, Gary worked for Fennville Public Schools from 1969 until he retired in 1992. His favorite hobby was making wooden bird carvings, he was an avid golfer in his younger years, he enjoyed to watch and play hockey, and he loved to watch his grandchildren play baseball. Surviving Gary is his beloved wife of 53 years, Cheryl Korman; his two boys, Jeff (Susan) Korman and Kris (Kelly) Korman; and his two grandchildren, Mathew and Erik. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI 49408. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fennville High School, Att: Alicia Rodriguez, 5 Memorial Dr. Fennville, MI 49408.
