Fred R. Dahlberg, age 86, of Fennville, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at Heartland of Holland. Born May 3, 1924 in Chigago, IL, he was the son of Frithiof and Ida (Peterson) Dahlberg. Fred was a WW II, Army veteran, he married Lorene Rastall on April 24, 1948, in Chicago, IL. A building contractor, he worked and lived most of his life in Illinois, in 1983 Fred retired and moved to the Fennville area, from his home in Richmond, IL. Surviving is his wife, Lorene (Renie) Dahlberg, sons; Kurt and Patti Dahlberg, Keith and Lesley Dahlberg, and his daughter Laurie Dahlberg. At his request cremation has taken place, and no services are planned. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, or any Humane Society of your choice.
