Franklin Lee "Frank" Aseltyne age 76 of Grand Haven passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. He was born March 8, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio. His parents were Francis Lee and Ethel Ruth (Southworth) Aseltyne. He worked as a mechanical builder for many years. Frank was a longtime resident of Pullman before moving to Grand Haven. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce and sister, Ruth. Surviving is a sister, Mary L. Blodgett of Englewood, Ohio, nephew, Michael and Peggy Hough of Craig, Colorado, nieces, Sharon McNeal of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Donna and Stanley Johnston, Delores and Tony Schut; great nieces and nephews, Erin, Stephen and Patrick McNeal, Marlo Kleiber, Lea Slattery, Mitchell, Benjamin, Eric and Melissa Hough, Christopher Johnston, Kimberly Eastman and Joseph Schut. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Fennville Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Herbert Curry of the Chicora Country Chapel, Allegan, Michigan. Both Frank and his wife Joyce loved animals especially dogs. The family has requested donations be made to ASPCA or any local humane society in his name.
