Francisco Gonzales, 58 of Holland, Michigan passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Holland Hospital. Born March 15, 1962 in Holland, Michigan, he was the son of Irene (Lopez) Gonzales and the late Santiago Gonzales. Francisco was a godly man who had a passion for helping others and ministering to them. He loved the one-on-one experience with people and especially enjoyed going to the jail to minister to the inmates. He was a gifted dog trainer who helped the police by training the dogs for the canine unit. Francisco spent the last 6 years working for GNS Automotive in Holland, Michigan where he helped turn the plant around with his drive for continuous improvement. He also thought highly of the wonderful people that work with him and around him. Francisco was well known around the area as a handyman who had a knack for being able to fix just about anything. His knowledge and abilities were wide-spread and highly in demand. His caring nature and gentle spirit that will be missed by his family and friends. Francisco is survived by his mother, Irene; his son, Frank Gonzales; his daughter, Liza Castro; five siblings, Santiago Gonzales, Norma Rodriguez, Sylvia Gonzales, Julian Gonzales, and Ester Gonzales; and six grandchildren. Friends may meet with the family at Chappell Funeral Home on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at which time the funeral service will begin. Service Details.
