Florence Rose Foster, age 95, of Fennville, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Allegan General Hospital. Born August 1, 1915, in Saugatuck Township, Allegan County, Michigan, she was the daughter of Otto and Edith (Miller) Heinze. Florence was a member of the Eastern Star, and the Rebekah Lodge, she also attended the Douglas Community Church. She and her husband worked and retired from Fosters Market in Fennville, after many years. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Eveard C. Foster on Feb. 7, 2006. Surviving are her children; Raymond and Wenona Foster of Grand Rapids, Charles and Shelley Foster of Lowell, Robert and Helen Foster of L'Anse, MI, Richard and Susan Foster of Jackson, MI and Anita and Daniel Exline of Caledonia, MI, eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and her sisters; Marie Foster of Fennville, and Marguerite French of Illinois. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011, and funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis DeWitt, and burial will be in the Fennville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Fennville Area Fire Department.
