Florence A. Borowiak-Holmes, age 90, of Fennville, Michigan, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Golden Orchards Assisted Living. Born January 13, 1921, she was the daughter of John and Ethel (Gessler) Walaszewski. Florence was a homemaker living in the Pullman and Casco area for many years. She was a former member of St. Basil's Catholic Church in South Haven and St. Peter's Catholic Church in Douglas. She was preceded in death by her first husband Leonard Borowiak and her second husband John Holmes. Surviving are her children; John and Corine Borowiak of Allegan, MI, James and Karen Borowiak of Mesa, AZ, Anthony and Kathy Borowiak of South Haven, MI, and Brian and Joanna Borowiak of Lawton, MI, grandchildren; Paige, Pam, Rick, Gavin, Jamie, Erica, Annamarie, Brianna, great-grandchildren; Samantha, Brad, Tyler, Cody, and Reese. At her request her body was donated to the anatomy department at Michigan State University, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
