Fletcher Junior Ward, 84, of Pullman, died Friday, May 25, 2007, in Countryside Nursing Home, South Haven. Born in Arkansas, he had been employed by H.J. Heinz and Pullman Industries. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Ward, and by a granddaughter. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Ann; children, Robert and Junior Ward, Lois and Frances Ward all of Pullman, and Joyce Mead of Sulligent, Ala; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Ward and Lloyd Ward of Vernon Ala.; and a sister, Ruby Bond of Bald Knob, Ark. Graveside services are 3 p.m. Tuesday in Lee Township Cemetery with the Rev. Don Jabaay officiating. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
