Obituary

Faith (Foe) Barnes went to be with her Lord on July 14, 2005. She was born in Fennville on June 23, 1912, one of twin girls, to Charles and Eva Fosdick. She had 4 sisters and 2 brothers and all are deceased. She graduated from Fennville High School and married Donald Barnes on March 4, 1931. Together they raised seven children. She never worked outside the home, but was very active in her children's school and their activities. She loved writing to nieces and nephews and her children and grandchildren, in service or in school. She also sent cards to lots of people. She was a long time member of Pearl Methodist Church, Pearl United Methodist Women, Pearl Ladies Aid and Fennville Sunshine Club. She was an avid reader, loved crafts, needle work, sewing and quilting. She was a 4-H leader. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, in 1981 and a son, Don (Pete) in 1997. She is survived by her children, Mary and Bill Keedle, Jean Barnes, Shirley Brown, Jim and Alcie Barnes, Jack and Carolyn Barnes and Bill and Lucile Barnes, and over 70 grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Pearl Cemetery with Rev. Gail Pike officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice, Allegan or the Allegan Medical Care Facility.
