Evelyn Louise Kimber, 80, of Plainwell, MI passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Life Care Center of Plainwell.  Born November 28, 1942 in Holland, MI, she was the daughter of the late Harley Kimber, Sr. and Margaret (Diepenhorst) Kimber.  Evelyn enjoyed scrapbooking and would often take the old pictures from match books and place them beautifully in her books.  Whether inside or outside, she loved to watch the birds and take in the flowers, observing everything around her and finding the beauty in it all.  She had a loving and giving spirit and people enjoyed being around her and seeing things through her eyes.

Evelyn is survived by her brothers, Ervin Kimber, Herman Kimber and Charles Kimber; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harley Kimber, Jr.; and her sister, Patricia Ross.

The family will receive friends at Chappell Funeral Home on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, Pastor Tadd Butler officiating.  Evelyn will be laid to rest beside her parents in Riverside Cemetery in Hamilton following the service at the funeral home.
