Eva Sanchez (Deleon), 83 of Fennville, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Holland Hospital in Holland, Michigan. Born October 18, 1937 in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, she was the daughter of the late Juan and Maria (De Jesus) Deleon and the wife of Aurelio Sanchez. Eva was a true homemaker, raising 12 children with her husband and creating a loving and comforting home. She was a tremendous cook who enjoyed providing wonderful food for others, be it her family or anyone who needed a good meal. Her kind heart and compassionate ways made her a truly special woman whose presence in this world will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Aurelio; their children, Juan, Ignacia (predeceased), Sostenes, Refugio, Francisco, Ignacio, Juana, Aurelio Jr., Julio, Eva Maria, Jesus, and Jose; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, at which time the Mass of Christian Burial will begin, Rev. Fr. Fabio Garzon celebrant. Burial will take place in the Fennville City Cemetery immediately following the Mass. Service Details.
