Ethelyn Dawn Dornan, 92, of Holland, MI passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024.  Born January 9, 1932 in Visalia, CA, she was the daughter of the late James Dinneen and Ethel (Charles) Luplow.  Dawn grew up on a fruit farm in Fennville and was a 1950 graduate of Fennville High School.  She had worked for thirty years for Parke-Davis, which later became Warner-Lambert and, finally, Pfizer.  Dawn retired from the company in 1995.  She was an avid organist for many years.  Dawn enjoyed watching NASCAR races, especially when her favorite driver, Rusty Wallace, was behind the wheel.  She was exceptionally gifted with needlepoint, especially knitting and cross stitch for which she had won many awards.  Dawn was lovingly referred to as Nana by all of her grandbabies.  Each one of them had a blanket made with her loving hands.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Patricia (Steven) Vandenberg and Judy (Samuel "Rocky") Gaglio; grandchildren, Eden (Ryan) Corbett and Samantha (Josh) DuVal; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Corbett, Samuel Corbett, Madelynn DuVal, Isla DuVal and Charlotte DuVal; and her nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Max DuVal; and her sister and brother-in-law.

The family will receive friends at Chappell Funeral Home on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and a memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM.
