Ethel M. Elliott, 91, of Fennville, MI, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Harbors Health Facility in Douglas, MI. Born January 11, 1917 in Ripley County, Missouri, she was the daughter of Edgar and Lula (Spitler) Penrod. Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the Ganges Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Elliott in 1990, also by two brothers Hayward and Ralph Penrod, and one grandson Mark Johnson. She is survived by her children; Frank and Barb Elliott, Juanita Johnson all of Fennville, and Ovella Stephens of Zeeland, MI, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, sisters; Hazel Snidle of Albion, IL, and Sylvia Bond of West Salem, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Chappell Funeral Home Fennville, with Pastor Thomas Case officiating, with burial in Taylor Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Ganges Baptist Church.
