Ernestino G. Benavidez, 57, of Pullman, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, in Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Born in Little Rock, Ark., he was a carpenter for Benavidez Construction Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Benavidez in 2002. Surviving are his daughters, Pauline and Joe Ferrell Jr. of Grand Junction, and Francisca and Milo Wheeler of Pullman; two grandchildren; brothers, Fuctoso Benavidez, Francisco Benavidez, Ramon Benavidez, and Johnny Benavidez; sisters, Benita Zoto, Tila Benavidez, Ester Benavidez, Guadalupe Maciel, Tana Benavidez, Juanita Benavidez, Maria Elena Rodriguez, and Ephifana Benavidez. Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, with the Rev. Fred Hoyt officiating. Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery. Visiting is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
