Eric L. Latchaw, age 82, of Pullman, Michigan passed away at his home on Friday, February 24, 2017. Born on Feb. 12, 1935 in Casco Township, he was the son of Russell and Anna (Radseck) Latchaw. Eric was a US Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean War. He lived all his life in the Casco area working as a farmer and for General Electric (GE) in Holland for over 32 years. Eric was preceded in death by his parents, one brother George Latchaw and one sister Esther Slotman. He is survived by his wife Mary (Haines) Latchaw, brother Eugene Latchaw of Fennville, sister Joyce Herweyer of Jenison, MI, brother Russell and Cathy Latchaw of Pullman, sister-in-law Barbara Latchaw , brother-in-law Robert Slotman, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2017, with visitation from 12 noon till service time, at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Officiating will be Ms. Marcia Tucker, and burial will be in the McDowell Cemetery, Casco Township, Allegan County.
