Emily E. Beery, age, 82 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Born May 19, 1931 in Ganges Township, she was the daughter of Wayne and Mary (Haan) Gooding. Emily was a school teacher, teaching in many schools in S.W. Michigan, and retiring after many years of service. She was a member of the Community Church in Douglas, and was well known for playing the organ at the Community Church, and many other churches in the area, for Sunday services, weddings, funerals or any other special occasion. Emily was preceded in death by her husband Willard Beery on June 13, 1998 and her daughter Bonnie Stennett in November of 1998. Surviving are her children Bennie and Nancy Beery, and Lois Tuttle all of Fennville, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one brother William Gooding of San Antonio, Texas. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. till service time at the Community Church in Douglas. Officiating will be Dr. Daniel N. Miller.
