Eloisa Alfaro, age 85, of Fennville, died at her home on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Born September 22, 1924, in Beaumont, Texas, she lived in the Fennville area since 1956, working on area farms, Michigan Fruit Canners, and raising her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Alfaro, and one daughter, Concepcion (Connie) Alfaro. Surviving are her children; Jose and Consuelo Alfaro, Peter and Lucy Alfaro, of Holland, Carlos and Maria Delaluz Alfaro of Gobles, Rudy and Lynn Alfaro of Zeeland, Paul and Yolanda Alfaro, Maria and Jesus Penaloza, Crestina and Tony Gonzales, Olga and Rick Rodriguez all of Fennville, Rita and Benito Casarez of Dallas, TX and Margarita and Donato Cabrera of Denton, TX, 71 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren 18 great-great-grandchildren, one brother and six sisters. Visitation will be Sunday, August 22, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home, and from 6-9 p.m. at the San Felipe de Jesus Catholic, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2010 at the San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church Fennville, MI, with Fr. German Perez officiating. Burial will be in the Fennville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church.
