Obituary

Hello dear friends and family, it is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of our beloved Elizabeth Ann Muniz. She was born February 25th, 1977, and arrived at her heavenly home where all is made new on March 1st, 2026, after fighting bravely against pancreatic cancer.

Liz was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and spent most of her young life into adulthood in Pullman, Michigan. She was vivacious, her energy made you feel like you were exactly where you are meant to be and never wanted to leave. She was caring, the type of person to sit with you for hours and just listen to your worries with no judgment. Her loving heart will be carried on in all around her. Her humor that is unmatched by all will be missed. Her spirit that made this world so bright for so many will continue to do so through memories until we meet her again in heaven.

A lovely secret many don’t know about our sweet Liz is that she was a spectacular fisherman, she kept this gem hidden from even her children. She deeply enjoyed nature walks and taking in the water scenery at Lake Michigan. She says it’s because she’s a Pisces, and felt at peace there. Liz was a free spirit that wasn’t even afraid to travel the world alone. She went where the waves took her.

Liz was a loving mama, grandmother (aka Nana), sister, niece, and daughter. She had many passions in life, but her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy by far. She is survived by her children; Juan Muniz, Andrea Muniz, Angelica Muniz, Antonio Guzman, Rigoberto Correa. She was predeceased by; a brother, Steven Riddle; her father, Stephen Riddle; her mother, Betty Riddle. At the end of the day, she was so full of compassion for everything and everyone. Which is how she ended up with so many additional kids to call her own.

We ask that you wear purple and black for her services in honor of her favorite color.
