Edward A. Walle Sr. age 87, of Pullman, Michigan died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Hospice House in Holland, Michigan. Born August 26, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of August and Catherine (Fink) Walle. Ed was a WW II Navy Veteran serving in the Seabees. He lived most of his life in the Pullman area and working for American Electric Power Company retiring in 1985. Ed was a member of the Pullman V.F.W., The Moose Lodge, and the River Bend Boat Club in South Haven. Surviving are his children Edward Walle Jr. of Pullman, Kathy Hauck of Canada, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, step son Joe Grochowski of Florida, step daughters Barb Beachum of Munising, MI, and Pat Pugh of Alabama. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012, with visitation one hour before service time at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Officiating will be Pastor Donald Graham, and burial with full military honors will be at the McDowell Cemetery, Casco Township, Allegan County, MI.
