Edward J. Dornan, 83 of Bangor, formerly of Glenn, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 at Allegan General Hospital. Born in St. Joseph, MI to Leo and Freda Dornan (Shroeder), he lived most of his life in Glenn, MI. He served in the Army in World War II, he married Margaret Scott on July 2, 1946, and worked for Everett Piano, Slickcraft, and retired from Bohn Aluminum. He also worked for Glenn Shores Golf Course from the age of 8, till the fall of 2006. Ed was a avid golfer and enjoyed the annual Glenn Shores Golf Tournament, he also loved his pets, and helping his son Mike build a Log Cabin for the past 10 years. He was preceded in death by his son Edward James Dornan, sister Gladys Ridley, and two brothers Johnny and Bernard. He is survived by his wife Margaret of Bangor: sons Jim and Mary Dornan of Grand Haven, Toby Dornan and Missie Moe of South Haven, Mike and Terry Dornan of Bangor, and Craig and Becky Dornan of Grand Haven, MI; Grandchildren Casey, Andrea, Lynsy, Derick, Jordan, Kyle, Dexter, Trevor, Kerryn, and Michelle; two great grandchildren; sister Mary Lou Ridley of South Haven. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2007 at the funeral home, with Mr. Charles Fines officiating. Visitation is from 10 a.m. till service time.
