Earl "Jim" Long, 68, of Allegan, died, Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at his home. He was born September 26, 1939 in Holland, Michigan. His parents were Samuel Long and Frances (Nibberlink) Long. He was a retired maintenance worker at Hart & Cooley in Holland, Michigan and was a member of the Dunningville Reformed Church. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; 2 sons, Jim and Nancy Long of Muskegon, MI; Jeff and Wendy Long of Zeeland, MI; 3 daughters, Cathy Long, Chris Long both of Grand Rapids, and Tonya Long of Grand Haven; 2 step-sons, Donny Rice of Allegan; and James Rice of Hamilton; a step-daughter, Jodi Stevens of Holland, Michigan; many grand and great grandchildern. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2007 at l:00 p.m. at the Dunningville Reformed Church, M-40, Hamilton, MI with the Pastor Tim Tenclay officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
